Being half French-half Australian, Sebastien was raised as an expatriate in the Pacific, the Middle East and South East Asia before moving to the United States after high school to study acting and film. He studied acting at Cameron Thor Studios and graduated with a BA in Film from California State University.
After years of modeling and acting in LA and Sydney, Sebastien started to focus more on being behind the camera as a writer/director. He moved to Australia after a successful run starring in several movies produced by Indigo, a division of Playboy Entertainment. He currently is an in-demand fashion model. And also a member of Australian Director’s Guild & Australian Writer’s Guild.
His unique ability to draw out true, honest and real performances is a function of the relaxed environment he creates. Whether he’s directing a montage spot with no dialogue or a comedic or dramatic performance, the defining feature of Sebastien’s work is a beautiful, cinematic look. His talent in this area is demonstrated by the fact that the majority of Sebastien’s commercials and music videos have been recognised with Australian Cinematography Awards.
His first feature film NERVE was released June 2014
