Seven Sundays films is proud to present their latest production service project for Turkish Airways, shot in partnership with Primo Content, Argentina.

The film was shot in four different countries; Iceland, Turkey, Jordan and Indonesia, with Seven providing line production for the Indonesian leg. The brief was to find locations that had never been shot before, and the Seven team went to great lengths to find unexplored nooks and crannies for the director Nicolas Perez Veiga, and his DOP Khalid Mohtaseb.

Shot predominantly on the island of Java, the team scoured the sorts of remote areas that a film crew wouldn’t usually consider, resulting in finding incredible never seen before locations, often with challenging access, sometimes requiring hikes of over two hours to reach. The Seven team managed the logistics seamlessly to ensure Nicolas and Khalid captured all the shots they needed to tell the story of this epic adventure.

The film itself follows the first steps abroad of three ordinary people, Mariha Falconer, Russ Holmes, and Karlos Kemp, who had never left their home country before, as Turkish Airlines takes them on an unforgettable trip around the world, resulting in a milestone for an estimated 130 million Americans who have never left their country since their birth.

Director, Didi Mulyadi opens up the film with the insignificancy of a saturated, uniformed world immediately abolishing it away with a strong female character of vibrance, euphoria and confidence injecting exuberance, thrilling adventures to an uncharted mesmerising city. Director of Photography, Batara Goempar supports the film with his framework of neon lighting specialties and camera movement unravelling even the tiniest of details and aesthetics of the ‘new world’.

Seven Sunday Films Executive Producer, Rodney Louis Vincent leads the team to new heights overcoming every challenge faced to ensure the execution of the film is done right – supported with the likes of Producer, Gilang Darmawan, Giovanni Suteja (Line Producer) and Alifia Warahmah (Producer Assistant). Emir Khan steps in as the Online and Animation Supervisor for this spot, whose vast experience in the field helps bring the film to a whole different tier with some of the most top-notch display of graphics and 3D execution as imagined by Didi Mulyandi. Big Foot BKK grades the film in a mesmerising tone and manner giving away a set of strong colour palettes to illuminate the futuristic, stylish lifestyle of TRI. The film is strongly complimented with an upbeat fast-paced music composed by the team over at The Rec Room KL.

The fashion industry is constantly moving like the speed of a moving train and Seven Sunday Films proudly takes you along for a ride with Uniqlo’s Fall & Winter Flannel Collection of 2020. Tasked with filming the project within seven days of confirmation, we never say no to any good challenge and with the help of Good Reason, no obstacle was hard to overcome as they have been with us throughout the whole journey ensuring and helping us to deliver the project to its highest of caliber. Director, Julien Carlier brings life to the film with his style of creativity and finesse whilst blending in a generation of timeless talents across Indonesia, from some of the most famous and well-established faces to new ones such as Iwan Fals, Titi DJ, Sophia Latjuba, Ferry Salim, Rendy Pandugo, Angga Aldi Yunanda and Mawar Eva.

Bella Panggabean steps in behind the camera yet again as Director of Photography whose eye to detail is second to none. Seven Sunday Films presents another moving campaign for Coca Cola with agency Berakar Komunikasi, narrated by dr. Handoko Gunawan, a 79-year-old pulmonary specialist on the frontline of this pandemic.

The campaign’s message focuses on the hardship and sacrifice of the healthcare workers during this global pandemic.

With a tiny team, a hosts of great still images, this spot is directed by visual effects protege Sakti Mahendra, who also plays the role as post supervisor involving motion graphics beautifully executed by Pawan Sanjaya.

“We are very proud to contribute to the human race project, maintaining the ideal and proper production to minimize risk. Salute to all the photographers and the medical workers who risk their lives on the frontline.” Producer Rofano Lubis expressed his comments for this emotionally engaging campaign.

Lets Game Change

Director iClaudius tackles a profoundly important topic in his latest outing with Seven Sundays, in a campaign for the Singapore Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources. The two films give voice to the Ministry’s position on climate change and food security, its impact on Singapore and how the Ministry is greening the city’s transport, energy and towns to address the issue.

Singapore currently imports 90% of what it eats, and is particularly susceptible to external shocks, as the COVID-19 pandemic has forcefully illustrated. As part of its strategy to address the food security and climate change issues highlighted in the films the Ministry has recently launched a thirty-million-dollar fund to encourage local businesses to grow produce locally, as well as making direct investments in offshore food ventures.

The film is combination of shot images, stills and stock, with principal photography taking place in Singapore with Director of Photography Alan Yap, and then edited with iClaudius’ trademark flare and graphic style. The concept was conceived of by agency Grey, with Executive Producer Rodney Louis Vincent helming the project for Seven Sundays, teaming up with producer Rofano Lubis and line producer Giovanni Suteja.

3 Hutchison #SiapaTakut

Seven Sundays has partnered with acclaimed visual director Farouk Aljoffery in their latest film for 3 Hutchison and their 4.5G network, showcasing the networks penetration and speed throughout Indonesia. The film is called #SiapaTakut, which translates as “no need to worry”, reflective of the quality of network services that 3 Hutchison provides, no matter how far from the city you may be.

The team travelled through central Java for the shoot, from Mount Merapi to Yogyakarta, looking for the epic locations the film required, and were rewarded with some stunning images from mountains, to ocean, forest, village and city.

The film was shot over four days, with award winning French Cinematographer David Nissen, who created a striking visual palette for the film. Executive Producer Rodney Louis Vincent oversaw the project, in partnership with Agency Pantarei. The film was produced by Yugi Darmawan and line produced by Ahmad Fauzi.
